Junior Kids on the Move
Our desire is to impact the children in this community with the message of Jesus’ love for them and encourage the kids to discover Jesus and accept Him as their personal savior. Our goal is to inspire the child’s daily growth in their relationship with Jesus and His Word and help develop skill building through relevant bible teaching, positive role modeling, and esteem building. Through our program the kids will discover their own uniqueness in order to deploy God’s mission for their lives.
Children deserve a safe, positive, nurturing, and age appropriate learning environment that is free of fear, peer pressure, or prejudice. Our curriculum is organized into the following structure: Bible story and memory verse, praise and worship, play centers, crafts, and snack. The curriculum focuses on introducing students to a daily relationship with God and developing an understanding of what it means to be part of the church. Activities in this program focus on the natural curiosity and energy of young children. Play is viewed as a vehicle for learning and creative thought. Ultimately their eyes will be opened to the amazing, limitless love that God has to offer them.
As you know, it is normal for little ones to cry when leaving a parent. This does not last long and separation becomes easier over time. Our caring leaders will immediately try to soothe your child while assuring them that you will return soon. If your child cries for an extended period of 10 minutes, we will notify you.
Parent Pager Information
At the time of check-in, a loving and trained leader will greet you and your child. All new families will need to register with our parent pager system on their first visit. You will have the option of requesting a pager if you feel we will need to contact you during service. You will need to present your check-in slip to the teacher or helper before your child is released.
Your Child’s Health
We operate a well-child program. For the protection of all the children in our ministry, we cannot accept a child with a runny nose, fresh cold, fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea or any other signs of illness. We request that you not place your child in the program while they are at risk of exposing other children. Thank you in advance for helping us to keep our children’s program a healthy place.
Snacks & Allergies
A snack and juice box is provided for your child. Please inform the leader if your child has an allergy.
