River of Life Worship Center is located 1 mile South of Massaponax High School near Fredericksburg, Virginia. Our Sunday mornings consist of a wide variety discipleship classes for all ages and interests in our River University (RU) program. RU starts at 9:00 am and ends with plenty of time for you to take a break or mingle with some of the people excited and waiting to meet you before the worship service. Teens can also participate in a class designed specifically for them.
River of Life has two worship services. The 1st Worship Service starts promptly at 9:00 am and runs concurrently with River University. The 2nd Worship Service begins promptly at 11:00. Both services have upbeat praise music and meaningful, focused worship. Pastor Dale Donadio teaches from scripture in a way that will open your eyes to God’s Word in new and life-changing ways.
We have plenty of guest parking next to both buildings. If you have children, our Parent Pager ministry will help you check your children in and point you in the right direction.
There is a Kids on the Move service for Kids in 1st grade through 6th grade. Also, there is a Junior Kids on the Move service for ages 3 years old (potty-trained please) through Kindergarten. Both of these take place concurrent with the 2nd Worship Service starting at 11:00 am.
Our Kids On The Move ministry also offers classes for the Kids to learn about God’s Word. It is called Kid’s Bible Fellowships (KBF). These take place at 9:00 am in the Youth and Children’s Building. If you will be attending River University during this time, your children’s KBF teachers will escort them to the Kids On The Move service. You do not need to pick them up from class if they will be attending a Kids On The Move service while you attend the 2nd Service.
Every month with a fifth Sunday we have a combined service for the whole family during the 2nd service. There is no Kids On The Move service. However, there is still a Junior Kids on the Move service.
Kids & Nursery
What kids can expect!
If your kids are between 3 years (and do not need potty assistance) and the 6th grade, you will escort them into the Youth and Children’s Building (the building closest to the campus entrance). If your little one is between 3-5 years old, you will walk with them all the way to the back for Jr. Kids on the Move. If your child is between 1st and 6th grades they will go in to the youth and children’s sanctuary for Kids on the Move! Our kid’s programs are exciting, fun and dedicated to teaching kids about Jesus through dynamic and Biblical lessons.
What your baby can expect!
If your kids are infants up to 3 years old, they will go in the main building with you (the big building in the back). We have an infant nursery and a toddler nursery there for them to enjoy and learn about Jesus. Go down the hallway on the right side of the worship center as you face the building, the nursery area is at the end. If you wish for your infant or toddler to be in the nursery during the service, please first register them into our Parent Pager system in the Youth & Children’s building (smaller building).
